Sun Groves is a neighborhood located in South Chandler on Riggs Rd. in between Lindsay and Val Vista. It consists of over 1900 homes and has homes built by 11 different builders. Home sizes range from 1500 sq. ft. – 3900 sq. ft. Prices right now are from $175,000 range up to the $300,000 range. The builders in Sun Groves are Standard Pacific, Richmond American, Taylor Woodrow, Morrison, Continental, Elite, Fulton, Beazer, Sunwest, KB, and TW Lewis. Many of these builders have closed their doors and were bought by other builders.
Sun Groves homes were built from 2004 til present. There is still a couple of builders finishing up their section of the neighborhood.
The Subdivision has a huge lake at the front entrance, walking trails throughout, many parks and an aquatic center across the street called Mesquite Groves. This Center is property of the City of Chandler and residents can use it for a nominal fee. They have many classes and lessons offered through the city there and is also the home of the Basha High School Swim and Dive team. Sun Groves has Navarette Elementary within its neighborhood, Basha High School is across the street to the North and Payne Junior High is about 5 miles to the East.
