December is a busy month so I wanted to highlight events around Chandler and Gilbert Arizona in case you wanted to get out and enjoy our beautiful Arizona weather.
December 1st– Lighting of the Famous Tumbleweed Tree. 4PM-9PM in Downtown Chandler. Chandler is the only city in the Southwest to have a Tumbleweed Christmas Tree. The City uses 1500-2000 tumbleweeds collected from around the city and creates a 35 foot Christmas tree! It is definitely a site to see. There will be pictures with Santa, a parade and then the lighting of the tree at 8PM.

December 12th– Gilbert is putting on a City Wide Menorah Lighting. It will take place at San Tan Village from 5:30-6Pm at the West End of Harkins Court.
December 7th-30th- Desert Botanical Gardens features Las Noches de las Luminarias. Takes place from 5:30-9:30PM nightly when thousands of Luminarias are lit and line the pathway of the Botanical garden. Entertainment, food and wine make this an event you won’t want to miss.
